Q. What are the dates and location for graduation?
A. The graduation celebration will take place Friday- Saturday, May 20-21, 2016 at the Cobb Galleria Center in the metro Atlanta area.
Q. When will I know if I am being recognized at the Honors Day Ceremony? How many people can I bring?
A. Students who will be recognized at Honors Day will receive an invitation via kmail by April 29, 2016. We ask that students are respectful of others and only invite 5-6 guests.
Q. I have a student with special needs who may need special arrangements for the graduation ceremony. What can I do?
A. Please send an email to email@example.com with your student’s name, ID number, and special requests. We will work with you to make the ceremony comfortable for your student.
Q. How will we practice and prepare for graduation?
A. Attend our virtual graduation practice on Tuesday, May 11th* at 2:00 pm www.tinyurl.com/mrscobb; arrive at the Cobb Galleria Center no later than 10:30 am on Saturday May 21st so we will have time to practice prior to graduation.
*note: Graduation practice has been rescheduled to occur on Tuesday, May 11th at 2:00 pm.
Q. I have ordered a stole, as I am a member of a GCA Honor’s Society. How do I get that?
A. Students who have ordered and paid for stoles will receive them during the Honor’s Day ceremony. If they are unable to attend Honor’s Day, they will be available the morning of graduation.
Q. What if I don’t pass my classes but I have purchased a cap and gown, can I participate?
A. Unfortunately, you cannot participate in the graduation ceremony unless you have passed all courses required for graduation. Please use these next few weeks to work very hard in your courses. Make sure you are completing all assignments and communicating with your teachers
